Hypori Achieves FedRAMP In Process Designation

September 17, 2024, Reston, VA - Hypori, the leading cybersecurity SaaS provider enabling bring-your-own-device (BYOD) capability and zero-trust access via any mobile device, announced today that it has achieved the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP®) "In Process" designation at a high impact level. Hypori is now listed in the FedRAMP Government Marketplace, marking a critical step toward full FedRAMP High authorization.

"The FedRAMP High Marketplace designation of In Process / Program Management Office (PMO) Review allows any federal agency or department to leverage our SaaS environment to significantly minimize risk related to their remote workforce and BYOD or government mobility programs," said Matt Stern, Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Hypori.
"Hypori makes these programs viable without compromising security or user privacy. Attaining FedRAMP High status has been a significant investment for our team and reflects Hypori's commitment to meeting the highest security requirements of our government."

FedRAMP is a government-wide program that standardizes security controls for cloud services used by Federal Agencies. The "In Process" designation positions Hypori to achieve full FedRAMP High authorization in 2025. Built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) FedRAMP authorized GovCloud, Hypori's virtual BYOD platform safeguards data, prevents unauthorized access to government networks, mitigates security risks, and ensures user privacy.

The company's continued investment in its zero-trust architecture ensures that federal organizations can securely access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other sensitive resources from any mobile device via the Hypori app. Hypori only transmits encrypted pixels and never stores any data on the physical device, reduces the edge device as an attack surface, and eliminates the risk of government data being lost, stolen, or hacked on the user's personal device.

Stern continues, Using Hypori for Government with the FedRAMP High designation allows any federal agency or department to reduce capital expenses by replacing a government device. Federal employees are now empowered to connect and collaborate when needed, not just when they are at their workstations. Thus, improving productivity and operational efficiency.

Additionally, Defense Industrial Base (DIB) companies seeking a mobile capability for their workforce can use the Hypori Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Cloud environment to protect CUI. The Hypori CMMC Cloud meets the requirements detailed in the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Officer (CIO) Memo for the use of cloud service providers protect CUI.

Achieving FedRAMP High deepens Hypori's security capabilities, adding to their 2023 Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (DOD CC SRG) Impact Level 5 (IL5) Provisional Authorization. To learn more about Hypori's security qualifications, visit our Trust Center.
