Hypori Hosts Expert Roundtable Webinar to Discuss CMMC’s Implications for the DIB Supply Chain

July 30, 2024, Reston, VA – Hypori, in coordination with Carahsoft, will bring together an esteemed panel of compliance experts for a live discussion titled “CMMC DIB Supply Chain Implications & Strategies: An Expert Roundtable.” Scheduled for 11:00 - 12:00 pm ET on August 28th, the session will allow attendees to engage with industry leaders and gain actionable insights to strengthen their Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance efforts and ensure they properly manage risk throughout their supply chain.
“Defense Industrial Base (DIB) members must conduct due diligence of their Software Supply chain not only to ensure they meet CMMC compliance requirements but more importantly to reduce the risk of introducing bad and malicious code into their infrastructure or the government’s,” said Matt Stern, Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Hypori. “The intent of this webinar is to look at supply chain risk management from the perspective of DIBs, managed service providers (MSPs), consultants, and auditors. Attendees will be provided key best practices to adopt or use as a baseline for their CMMC compliance programs.”
What: During the webinar discussion, experts will examine how to manage risk throughout the supply chain and the responsibilities of the main contract holder as well as the involvement required from subcontractors, explore if and how Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can be involved with CMMC risk management and costs as well as if they can help simplify compliance and uncover the overwhelming “gotchas” of CMMC audits. The roundtable session is part of Carahsoft's CMMC Webinar Series: CMMC Compliance Boot Camp Securing the DIB, taking place August 27-29th and attendees can earn a continuing professional education (CPE) credit by participating.
